The relative of the Tea Tree grows wild in Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam and south eastern Asia. Closely related to Melaleuca members of Eucalyptus, Clove and Tea Tree. Used in the East for colds, headaches, infections, aching muscles, it creates a sensation of warmth and increases the pulse. We use this oil extensively in our Muscle Bub and Herbal Aid Creme, and have noticed it helps to control itching. It is recommended by herbalists for acne, insect bites and oily skin. Pain in the muscles and joints seems to be relieved with Cajeput; it is deeply absorbed.
